To update your address or name, you may complete a new voter registration application online, by mail, or in person.

Voter registration applications are available through the Missouri Secretary of State website or by contacting the County Clerk’s Office.

You may update your voter registration in person at:

You may also update your voter registration while obtaining services through designated Missouri state agencies, including:
- Missouri License Bureau offices
- Missouri Division of Employment Security
- Division of Family Services offices
- WIC offices
- Military recruitment offices

Will I receive confirmation after changing my address or name?
After your registration update has been processed, a new voter identification card will be mailed to you. If you do not receive confirmation, contact the New Madrid County Clerk’s Office to verify the status of your registration update.
Is there a deadline to update my registration before Election Day?
If you move within New Madrid County, you may update your registration any time up to or on Election Day. It is recommended that you notify the County Clerk’s Office before Election Day to verify your polling location.
If you move from one Missouri county to another, you must register in your new county of residence. Address changes between counties on Election Day must be completed in person through the County Clerk’s Office.
